3rd Quaran Recitation program Alif-Lam-Mim for Orphans was held at
Madrasa Darur Rashad (Etimkhana) on 15 June 2012, Friday from 9 AM to 11
AM. It is a part of social cultural activity and specially organized
for orphans for the first time in Bangladesh. Orphans are the most neglected in our society and
deprived of their rights. Orphans Welfare Foundation (OWF) also known as
Etim Kollan Foundation is organizing this program at different
Madrasa & Etimkhana (orphanages). The Program will continue and stop
before Ramadan. The program has two groups. Group A with orphans under
10 years old and Group B with orphans under 16 years old. All
participants shall receive certificates and the position holders shall
receive prizes. The program's Chief Judge is Maolana Mohammad Eskander ( Examiner of Kaomi Madrasa Board & Judge of Kuran er Alo of Bangla Vision TV Channel)
