Health Camp for Orphans was organized at Bhashantek Islamia Arabia Madrasa and Etimkhana (Orphanage) on 29th June 2012 by Orphans Welfare Foundation (OWF). The Health Camp was sponsored by Galaxy Hospital Pvt. Ltd. (Mirpur-10). All the orphans had to undergo Physical Check-up, Eye Screening, Dental Check-up and Blood Group Sampling. Health Card for Orphans was introduced for the First time in Bangladesh. Free medicine was provided as prescribed. The Orphans who needs more thoroughly check-up/ pathological tests are referred to specialized hospitals (e.i. Dhaka Dental College- Mirpur, Lions Eye Hospital-Agargoan, etc). Orphans Welfare Foundation shall bear all Medical Expenses including any pathological tests, Teeth Scaling, Root Cannel, X-ray, Spectacles if needed, Medicine (Full course) etc. Thanks to Dr. Asaduzzaman (General Physician), Dr. Omar Jafarullah (Ophthalmologist), Dr. Sabah Jafarullah (Dentist) and the Medical Technologists who volunteered from Galaxy Hospital Pvt. Ltd. Especial Thanks to Dr T. M. Jafarullah, Managing Director of Galaxy Hospital Pvt. Ltd. Who made this program possible for the orphans. Zarifa Shahrin, Md. Saddam, Md. Moniruzzaman and Kazi Touhid Elahi Volunteered for Orphans Welfare Foundation (OWF).

Orphans are the most neglected human being. They never get any medical attention from the Orphanage or Society. People think Orphans are very well under their costume. But they are human being—they do suffer—they do need medical attention—Do the Society Care for orphans?

  1. This article such make me cry , as a human we always need others help . Orphan are also a part of our society , there are many organization who are giving donation to them , there are many people donate for them but many of organization don't give it to the orphan or handed the donation to the orphan . I have great believe that your organization worked properly for it . If you guys need any donation for orphan , i have a known Trust charity called Global Aid .
